This photograph has received a lot of attention from other Flickr users, and deservedly so. It's a brilliantly colorful yet mysteriously evocative photograph of a cracker style house. Despite the brilliant color, it has that bygone feel that I love so well (being, as I am, a lover of old buildings). This is one of the best I've ever seen---the purest of pure Old Florida.

Thank you for your kind words. I drive by this gem every day and finally took the time to photograph it. The late afternoon light after some rain gave this a warm and vibrant feel. I took some additional detail shots which are posted after this shot. Thank you again for the compliment and for the proper use of my creative commons copyright.
