Next to, or even right up there for me with Cedar Key (on the Nature Coast) is Amelia Island on the Atlantic side . It depends on my mood, really.
As these photographs show, Space Coast Sunsets can be just as enthralling as Nature Coast ones. Amelia Island sunsets and sunrises are equally astonishing. Here are some which photographers have generously recorded.

The first bridge is in Jacksonville across the St. John's River, a river which flows north to south.
This is a lovely panoramic photograph of St. Augustine. It seems to have been taken from a boat looking in towards the waterfront. I love the soft pastel tints of the clouds and the rose colored roofs in this one.

Every Florida town has its "historic district" and every historic district has one or more houses like this. It's typical Deep South architecture.
This was an impressionistic picture because I wanted to make people really see the palm trees. The palm trees make all the difference.
To the best of my recollection, this house is in a North Central Florida town.
A North Central Florida house. As you can see if you look closely, I took this photograph in wisteria season. I wanted the photo to remind myself that if I ever build a house, it should have an upstairs porch. My apartment has one, as a matter of fact, but without the wisteria or the charming bygone atmosphere.
