More---always, always more---from Ann Coulter, who I have decided is my new best friend. We Dems need more right-wing crazies for our otherwise blameless (except for being Republicans) Republican friends and family to feel defensive about. We had to put up with the whole Monica Lewinsky thing, after all, not to mention....well, anything else. It's amusing and satisfying to watch the Republicans in Good Faith (which, to be fair, is probably most of them) trying to cope with their elected representatives' fiscal spending and Ann Coulter's carefully tempered remarks.
I had a conversation with a Republican friend who met AC while she (the friend) was working in a Republican think tank. "She's extremely intelligent," said my friend sadly, "and she was really nice in person. She was really nice to me I don't know what she was thinking with that latest book."
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Suck it, Republicans-in-Good-Faith!
I also linked to a good interview with the estimable Bill Maher and to an article showing a good example of what I always think of as Republican humor or 'humor.' Links follow, along with my tally of June 2006 'previouslys.'
