For someone of my particular bent, this image has very specific religious connotations---the X (chi) for "Christ" and the intimation of grapes and grapeseeds and the pomegranete-like image in the center. Unlike the related image (posted above) it isn't what most people think of as a cross. Having studied the Cathars and other so-called "heresies," I find this image strangely evocative.
