Slipping Away.

ABSTRACT DIGITAL ARTWORK.  Beautiful deep colors on this one, with a gilded leather effect.  the (tilted) central image is a beautiful flower with a soft, slightly glossy rose-colored center and petals in deep teal with white details.  The flower sits in the center of a seven-pointed star with a pale green center and brilliant, three dimensional indigo rays tipped with black. That star in turn rests on a base made of scalloped pale violet-colored petals, edged in gold.  Surrounding the whole are petals in lime green, tangerine, and scarlet.

"In the Time of Prismatic Color."

ABSTRACT DIGITAL ARTWORK.  The title is from a poem by the Twentieth Century poet, Marianne Moore.  It's probably quite apparent that I love brilliant color and the colors in the spectrum.  This tile is composed of strips of different colored stone or ceramic with a raised chainlike pattern.  Each strip is multi-colored; together, they create a rainbow effect.  This piece would make excellent digital tiling for a website background or a desktop for someone fond of brilliant color.
