I've always been a fan of intense colors paired with black. Color looks so much more intense when paired with the complete absence of it. This is pop art, digitally created. How furious it would make the artists it seeks to emulate!
Here are some striped glass objects, half circles made from moulded fabric under glass, in there shades of green, magenta, dodger blue, royal blue, and peach, with just a touch of red. They're evocative of the happy, bubble-gum version of the Sixties, like the "hippies" they had on, say, "The Lucy Show" (the guy who wore his watch in his ear, as if). It's the "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In Version of the Sixties."
People did dances like "the jerk" (remember that?) and everything funny was stupid in an amiable, pre-Python way. But bright colors were cool, which was cool, and some of the art was fun. This is the Sixties my parents could deal with. It's "Java" art, "Spanish Flea" art, "Alley Cat" art.
