At Tarpon Springs, Florida, there is a thriving Greek community who have made that town a resort unlike any other in Florida. This pattern of Mediterranean blue against a background of a very gentle gold---the color of sunlight on old marble---made me think of that lovely place (and the marvelous restaurants). This is for you, people of Tarpon Springs!
Strings of clear glass beads alternate with patterns of translucent diamonds in both a silvery blue and a darker charcoal grey. The effect at a distance (and in the smaller images) is of alternating, rather intricate bands of grey in various shades of silver and charcoal. Complex, yet elegant.
A purple and black wallpaper, with a subtle radiance. Scalloped, corrugated bands in metallic deep purple on a black background, with X patterns marked out in lighter purple on the raised bits. Very dark, very rich, very dimensional.
Same image as the previous one: This time the bands are in mauve/lavender and the stylized "butterflies" in the central bands are in purple instead of teal. The 3D "diamond" pattern is surrounded by neon in that sort of dirty pink one associates with colorized images from the forties. A really interesting wallpaper.

Columns of inlaid oval medallions carved from jade and carnelian set in a diaper pattern of pale gold on ice blue; background is black. A more subtle use of holiday colors, suitable for other occasions as well.
