You may or may not see the "fairies," but I do. Each one, well wrapped up in its own individual little leaf, is seated in a circle around a central image so that seen from above, their eight heads (which are hairless and kewpie-like) form a sort of ring. That ring is surrounded by another ring formed of flowers, which is surrounded by another ring of 16 fairies. It's a bit of a stretch for you, maybe, but not for me... I've always thought fairies rather sinister, menacing little beings (there is a terrifying Algernon Blackwood story about them). This sign conveys the menace.
On the other hand, you could just view it as a cream-colored "star" made from clay "petals" on a very dark, leafy green background, surrounded by a ring of cross-shaped "flowers" in violet neon, and an outer ring of petals. It's up to you.
