Gas prices are schizophrenic. Last summer, prices hit an alarming high. Before the November 2006 election, they dropped. Since January 2007 gas prices have gone up almost every week and hit a record-high in May 2007. A Washington Post photo of a San Francisco gas pump (May 11) boasted $4.33 to $4.53 per gallon.
Price fixing is a concern, not just from OPEC, but also from American oil companies. See cross-posting at Buck Naked Politics.
